Meet Shelley Tullis
Shelley Tullis is a committed community leader and business owner in Habersham County with a strong record of service and involvement in local organizations. She believes in responsible government, fiscal accountability, and protecting the quality of life for county residents.
My Story
Shelley currently serves in multiple leadership roles across the community, including as President of the Mount Airy Civic Association, Chairwoman of the Habersham County Board of Parks and Recreation, a Board Member of the Mount Airy Planning and Zoning Board, General Manager of the Chattahoochee Mountain Fair, and as a local business owner. Through these roles, she has worked closely with local government, volunteers, businesses, and residents to manage budgets, guide planning decisions, and make choices that benefit the community as a whole.
As a business owner with hands-on experience managing operations, finances, and long-term planning, Shelley understands the challenges facing local businesses and taxpayers. She has also led efforts to update organizational bylaws to improve transparency and accountability. She believes county government should operate efficiently, live within its means, and always put taxpayers first.
Shelley is running for Habersham County Commissioner to bring common-sense leadership to county government. Her priorities include controlling county spending, supporting controlled and planned growth, protecting property rights, strengthening public safety, and ensuring that infrastructure keeps pace with development.
Most importantly, Shelley believes in listening to the people. She is committed to open communication, ethical leadership, and making decisions based on what is best for Habersham County—not politics.
Shelley Tullis is proud to call Habersham County home and is dedicated to protecting its future for generations to come.
